There is a coin-operated coffee machine in the hall, which also makes hot chocolate. There is ample free parking space at the property. There is a second level in the room with a table and a couple of chairs, which is not very useful (and the staircase is quite steep), but it's fun to have. It may be warmer up there in the winter months.

Our room was very spacious with high ceiling and a small loft-type area upstairs. Easy to arrive by car. Parking is 4 EUR/day though. Helpful staff. Decent breakfast option for 12 EUR. After asking our 4 year-old was offered a free meal. Nice green and quiet area (but it is remote from city center).

Overall, it is a great hotel. Clean, warm strong water, nice bed and pillow. Big hotel lobby, good outdoor parking.

This is a conference or training facility from the 1980s: it feels a bit like a university. They still use it as a training centre so you may encounter people taking seminars etc. Breakfast is optional in the refectory and consists of an ample buffet. It's good value for money. The room had a mezzanine sitting area, which was a bit odd since you'd have to climb up a steep set of stairs to get there and down again. View was onto an inner courtyard. it was very quiet. Corridors (if you are mobility impaired) are enormously generous.

A bit far from the city centre but in a convenient location and easy to reach by public transport. Surrounding is cum and quiet. People in reception is very friendly. Rooms are not completely soundproof.

The room was beautiful and clean. Staff was super friendly. Hotel was quiet in a beautiful location in the middle of the forest with a bus stop 5 minutes away directly to the HBF.

Really good value hotel for visiting Kiel.Nice rooms and facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. A pleasure to use.And very reasonable cost.

Our two rooms were spacious with large window. Parking is next to the hotel and there is also space for bigger cars.

The room is large and full of light. Basically there is a forest behind the window.

The room was very clean. Its design is very interesting. The personnel is exceptionally friendly. The hotel is quite accessible by public transport.
